‍Miles “Kid Sketch” Davis, a 16-year-old self-taught manga and comic artist from Leesburg, Virginia, is turning years of notepad scribbles and finger-drawn animations into a new enterprise for young webcomic and anime fans, as well as an online community for aspiring artists and storytellers.

From drawing Sonic the Hedgehog with sidewalk chalk at age four to creating digital art on his iPad, Miles has developed a unique, kinetic style that infuses traditional shonen manga with American superhero and cartoon influences. His work focuses on world-building and action-packed narratives featuring teenagers navigating everyday life and supernatural abilities. Miles is now excited to bring his original, hand-drawn "Origami Ninja" series to the competitive webcomic scene.
